Lucid (LCID) Bets on New Gravity Lineup to Revive Sales

EV maker Lucid (LCID) has introduced its 2027 Gravity lineup, which includes new standard features and a higher-end Prestige Package. Indeed, the Gravity Touring model, priced at around $79,000, now includes DreamDrive 2 Premium driver-assistance as a standard feature, along with an extra key fob at no additional cost. In addition, buyers can customize the SUV with optional packages focused on comfort, technology, performance, and audio upgrades like “Surreal Sound.”

Meanwhile, the higher-end Gravity Grand Touring model, which starts at $98,000, also comes with several premium features included as standard. These include the DreamDrive 2, Comfort and Power packages, and larger 21” and 22” wheels. Furthermore, customers who want an even more upgraded experience can choose the new Prestige Package, which pushes the starting price to about $105,000.

However, despite strong reviews for Lucid’s technology and design, sales have been a challenge. According to Cox Automotive, Lucid sold only 230 Gravity vehicles in 2025, although the company disputes this and says sales were actually in the thousands. Still, Lucid admitted that supply chain issues slowed down production, which likely limited deliveries. In response, the company is now increasing output by adding a second shift at its factory to make sure that there is enough supply for the updated models.
