GAME Earnings: GameSquare Stock Rockets on First Positive Adjusted EBITDA Quarter

GameSquare (GAME) stock saw major gains on Thursday after the media, entertainment, and technology company reported its Q4 2025 earnings. The company highlighted that this was the first time it reported positive adjusted EBITDA, which came in at $1.7 million, or 9.4% of the company’s Q4 revenue.

On that same note, GameSquare Holdings also reported a massive 142% year-over-year increase in revenue to $18.5 million. Despite the company’s strong revenue gains, it still reported a net loss from continuing operations of $28.14 million. Investors will keep in mind that this is a wider net loss than the $19.53 million reported in Q4 2024.

Justin Kenna, CEO of GameSquare, said, “Our fourth quarter results demonstrate a meaningful step change in profitability, driven by the success of our strategic investments, improved profitability across the business, and the contribution from our recently acquired creator marketing platform, Click.”

GameSquare Guidance & Stock Movement

GameSquare provided investors with a guidance update for its fiscal year 2026. It expects:

  • Revenue of $85 million to $90 million.
  • Gross margin of 35% to 40%.
  • Adjusted EBITDA of over $5 million.

In addition to this guidance, Kenna highlgihgted the company’s operational plans for the year. The CEO said, “As we move into 2026, our focus remains on driving new client relationships, expanding partnerships with existing brands, and continuing to scale sustainable revenue streams across the platform.”

All of this news has investors excited about GameSquare stock. This saw the shares rally 55.33% on Thursday, building on a 1.53% rally year-to-date. However, the stock was still down 59.44% over the past 12 months.

Is GameSquare Stock a Buy, Sell, or Hold?

Turning to Wall Street, only a single analyst has covered GameSquare stock over the past three months. Maxim Group’s Jack Vander Aarde rated GAME stock as a Buy with no price target. It’s possible more analysts will update their coverage of GAME shares following today’s earnings report.
