Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) has always been seen as the internet’s favorite meme coin, but this week it could take a giant step toward becoming a mainstream financial asset. With the first U.S. Dogecoin ETF set to launch, DOGE fans are wondering how high the price can fly.

Dogecoin ETF Builds Serious Momentum
The Rex-Osprey DOGE ETF, trading under the ticker $DOJE, is expected to debut this week. This would be the first Dogecoin ETF in the United States, offering traditional investors a way to gain exposure without buying DOGE directly. The news has already sent the price higher, with Dogecoin trading around $0.24 on Tuesday, up 20% from its September low.
ETF Store president Nate Geraci summed up the mood by saying, “Get ready. I think we’re in for wild next 2 months for crypto ETFs.” Betting markets agree. Polymarket shows a 91% chance that a Dogecoin ETF will go live in 2025.
DOGE Chart Signals Point Toward a Breakout
On the technical side, Dogecoin looks ready for liftoff. The price has been coiling inside an ascending triangle on the weekly chart. Bulls want to push DOGE above the $0.27 resistance line. If this happens and the breakout sticks, analysts say the price could shoot toward $0.50, which would mark a gain of more than 100% from current levels.
The monthly chart paints an even bigger picture. A classic cup-and-handle formation suggests targets of $1.40 and even $3.65 once key resistance points are cleared. This would mean a potential 495% jump.
Can DOGE Really Hit $1?
Breaking above $1 has been a long-running dream for Dogecoin holders. Some analysts now believe it is possible in this cycle. Popular trader XForceGlobal expects DOGE to reach all-time highs near $1. Others, using Elliott Wave theory, argue that $10 is not out of the question.
ETF approval could be the spark that makes those predictions more realistic. Once institutional capital is unlocked through ETFs, Dogecoin may no longer be treated like a meme. Instead, it could become a serious contender in the broader crypto market.
At the time of writing, Dogecoin is sitting at $0.2461.
