Elon Musk’s online spat with Ryanair Holdings (RYAAY) enters its second week. Musk has reignited the feud by posting a poll on X, asking users if he should buy the budget airline. The clash began last week after Ryanair’s CEO, Michael O’Leary, rejected Musk’s proposal to install Starlink internet on the airline’s aircraft.

On Monday, Musk posted a poll on X asking whether he should buy Ryanair and “restore Ryan as their rightful ruler.” X was flooded with memes of “Ryans” applying for the job, while prediction markets estimate the chances of an actual takeover at just 9–12%. Ryanair, which focuses on cheap fares without frills, has remained mostly silent as the online banter continues.
