The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) announced that the core Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 2.6% annually in November, the lowest since March 2021 and below the expectation of 3.0%. Core CPI excludes volatile components from headline CPI, like food and energy prices. Headline CPI increased by 2.7% year-over-year, also below the estimate of 3.1%.
