Ethereum Investors Hit the Brakes: iShares ETHA Logs $32 Million in Outflows as Price Slump Deepens

Ethereum ETF Sees Half-Percent Outflow as Traders Reassess Crypto Risk

Meet Samuel – Your Personal Investing Prophet

The iShares Ethereum Trust ETF, ETHA, recorded a sizeable outflow of $32.26 million on April 02, 2026, as investors trimmed exposure to the sector. With assets under management at roughly $6.45 billion, the single-day redemption represented about 0.50% of the fund’s capital base, a notable move for a large, institutionally oriented vehicle.

The redemptions come against a backdrop of mounting pressure on the underlying token. The related asset, ETH-USD, is currently trading at $2,043.19 after shedding more than 36% over the past three months. Short-term momentum remains weak as well, with a one-day technical signal flashing Sell.

Such a pronounced drawdown in both price and ETF flows suggests that some investors are moving to the sidelines rather than buying the dip. Yet, the outflow equal to just half a percent of AUM also underscores that many holders are opting to stay put, betting that Ethereum’s longer-term adoption story will outlast the current bout of volatility.
