ZhongAn Online P & C Insurance Co., Ltd has secured a deal with Alipay Hangzhou to provide employee insurance for Ant Group and its subsidiaries starting July 1, 2024. The agreement includes a range of protection and comprehensive medical insurance products for employees and their families, with the premiums to be paid in two installments. This deal is a significant continuing connected transaction, as Ant Group is a substantial shareholder in ZhongAn, although it doesn’t require independent shareholder approval.
