Zhong Hua International Holdings Limited reported a significant loss for the year ended December 31, 2023, with a total loss of HK$1,849,358,000, a stark contrast to the profit of HK$34,050,000 in the previous year. The loss is primarily attributed to a substantial loss on derecognition of a subsidiary and a decrease in the fair value of investment properties. Earnings per share plummeted from a minor gain to a loss of HK$62.73.
