Zenith Energy Seeks $503 Million in Tunisia Arbitrations

Zenith Energy (GB:ZEN) has released an update.

Zenith Energy is engaged in international arbitration against the Republic of Tunisia, claiming US$503 million in damages for actions detrimental to its subsidiaries’ operations in oil concessions. The arbitration, conducted under the UK-Tunisia bilateral investment treaty, has involved specialist firms like OCA and Chapman in quantifying the claim, with hearings set for December 2025. Additionally, Zenith has confirmed the conclusion of final hearings in a separate ICC Arbitration against Tunisia’s national oil company ETAP, with a decision anticipated by December 2024.
