Zacatecas Silver ( (TSE:ZAC) ) just unveiled an update.

Zacatecas Silver Corp. has mobilized a drill crew and diamond drill rig from contractor Major Drilling to the El Cristo target at its wholly owned Zacatecas Silver Project in Zacatecas State, Mexico, marking the start of an active new exploration phase. The initial program will test priority targets along the El Cristo vein system, focusing on extensions of known silver-base metal mineralization and new targets identified through recent geological modeling and surface work.

El Cristo, interpreted as the northwestern continuation of the prolific Veta Grande system, spans roughly three kilometres and has shown mineralization in most historical scout holes, underscoring near-surface potential and strong continuity. Located within the highly productive Fresnillo Silver Belt, the project’s open mineralization and planned drilling are intended to expand known zones, support new discoveries, and drive a steady flow of exploration results as Zacatecas Silver advances its broader land package and strengthens its position in one of Mexico’s premier silver districts.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:ZAC) stock is a Hold with a C$0.11 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Zacatecas Silver stock, see the TSE:ZAC Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on ZAC Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ZAC is a Neutral.

The score is primarily held back by a development-stage financial profile with no revenue, ongoing losses, and persistent cash burn (continued funding risk). This is partially offset by a strong, debt-free balance sheet and some improvement in cash outflows versus last year. Technicals are neutral-to-cautious with muted momentum, while valuation is constrained by a negative P/E and no dividend support.
