York Harbour Metals Inc. has reported promising findings for its Bottom Brook project in Newfoundland, revealing high concentrations of Rare Earth Elements (REE) in sampled materials. The analysis, which included Mineral Liberation Analysis – Scanning Electron Microprobe (MLA-SEM), indicated that monazite, the primary REE mineral found, is suitable for established metallurgical processing. The presence of thorite, often associated with monazite, hints at the potential effectiveness of radiometric geophysical surveys for further exploration.
