YHI Corporation (Singapore) and its director, Mr. Alex Ong, were fined S$200,000 and S$150,000 respectively, for a fatal workplace accident under the Workplace Safety and Health Act. Both have agreed to pay the fines without appeal. The financial penalty is not expected to significantly affect YHI International Limited’s financial results for the year.
