In the first quarter of FY2025, Yakult Honsha Co. reported a decline in its financial performance compared to the previous year, with consolidated net sales decreasing by 4.9% to 116,586 million yen. The company faced challenges in both domestic and international markets, impacting its overall profitability.

Key financial metrics revealed a decrease in operating profit by 32.2% to 10,906 million yen, and ordinary profit fell by 22.9% to 17,190 million yen. The profit attributable to owners of the parent company also saw a decline of 17.7%, amounting to 11,597 million yen.
