Xplora Technologies AS ( (DE:86P) ) has provided an update.

Xplora Technologies has agreed key terms to acquire 100% of Austria-based emporia Group, the market leader in senior mobile phones in the DACH region, for an undisclosed sum financed from existing funds. emporia’s annual sales of more than 300,000 devices, its strong brand, and its extensive European distribution network offer Xplora a deeper foothold in the senior segment.

The deal, which is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026 subject to due diligence and approvals, is intended to combine emporia’s established hardware presence with Xplora’s subscription platform and MVNO capabilities to generate new recurring revenue. Together with the previously acquired Doro, emporia will broaden Xplora’s geographic coverage, reinforce its position in senior-focused mobile solutions, and is expected to be earnings accretive from the first year after completion.
