Xcite Resources, Inc. ( (TSE:XRI) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Xcite Resources has expanded its Uranium City footprint in northern Saskatchewan by adding seven newly staked dispositions from Eagle Plains into its Don Lake, Smitty and Beaver River projects. The additions make Don Lake–Smitty contiguous and increase its size to 4,055 hectares, while Beaver River grows to 3,033 hectares, consolidating control over multiple historical uranium showings and past-producing zones.
The projects are governed by an exploration agreement with Eagle Plains and the Ya’thi Néné Lands and Resource Office, which represents several Athabasca Denesułiné First Nations and northern communities. Eagle Plains has applied for Class 2 exploration permits that will allow ground-based geophysical work, positioning Xcite to advance evaluation of numerous high-grade historical uranium occurrences across the expanded land package.
