X5 Retail Group Prepares New Depositary Transition

X5 Retail Group (GB:FIVE) has released an update.

X5 Retail Group N.V. is in the process of appointing Stichting STAK X5 Retail Group as the new depositary following the resignation of The Bank of New York Mellon for its Global Depositary Receipts program. The company’s GDRs will be delisted from the UK Financial Conduct Authority and the London Stock Exchange by October 2024, with the transition expected to complete by mid-December 2024. Additionally, the company is preparing to separate shareholders into two distinct groups post-share distribution in X5 Corporate Centre, focusing on the interests of NV Only Shareholders/DR holders.
