The latest announcement is out from WT Financial Group Ltd. ( (AU:WTL) ).

WT Financial Group has appointed Michael Peters as its new Chief Financial Officer in a move aimed at strengthening execution of its consolidation and growth strategy in the financial advice sector. Peters, who brings more than 30 years’ experience in banking, financial services and listed markets, will also lead the existing finance function and is expected to assume the role of company secretary, bolstering governance and ASX reporting.

The appointment is closely aligned with WT Financial’s push to scale its Investco joint venture and Hubco model, providing equity capital to high-potential advice practices and driving both organic and acquisitive earnings growth. Management emphasised that Peters’ deep M&A, capital structuring and advice-network relationships should materially enhance the group’s capacity to execute on a strong pipeline of consolidation opportunities and create long-term value for shareholders.
