WPP has acquired New Commercial Arts, a rapidly growing UK agency, which will now be integrated into Ogilvy’s global network to enhance its creative momentum in the UK market. The move brings NCA’s co-founder James Murphy into the leadership role as CEO of Ogilvy Group UK, succeeding Fiona Gordon who ascends to Global CEO of Advertising at Ogilvy. This acquisition is expected to drive growth for both client brands and WPP’s UK business, leveraging NCA’s established client base and WPP’s extensive resources.
