Woori Financial Group Inc. has officially added Woori Investment Securities Co., Ltd. as a direct subsidiary following a merger, expanding its portfolio to a total of 15 direct subsidiaries. The newly added subsidiary, previously known as Korea Foss Securities Co., Ltd., specializes in trading, brokerage, and short-term financing, and holds significant financial figures, with total assets of 232,976 million KRW as of December 31, 2023. This strategic move signifies a substantial consolidation within Woori Financial Group’s operations, with a share ownership ratio of 97.1% in the new subsidiary.
