Woolworths Group has confirmed that the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has initiated legal proceedings against them regarding their ‘Prices Dropped’ program, which ran from 2021 to 2023. The company is reviewing the ACCC’s claims and will continue to engage with the regulatory body on the issue. CEO Amanda Bardwell reiterated the company’s commitment to providing customers with value and trust through their various savings programs.
