Wizz Air reported an 8.4% year-on-year increase in March passengers to 5.51 million, with capacity up 9.1% and load factor nudging slightly lower to 90.0%, indicating resilient demand despite service cuts in the Middle East. Operationally, the group reopened its Târgu Mureș base in Romania and launched a new base in Podgorica, underscoring its strategy of deepening coverage in Central and Eastern Europe. In Italy, Wizz Air strengthened its position as the country’s second-largest carrier by originating seats, adding based aircraft in Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino and Venice from late 2026, while rolling out Bluetooth-enabled in-seat ordering across its fleet to drive ancillary revenue and enhance onboard retail.

Spark’s Take on WIZZ Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, WIZZ is a Neutral.

The score is held up by improving financial performance (profitability and free-cash-flow recovery) and a supportive low P/E valuation, but is weighed down by weak technicals (price below key moving averages with negative momentum) and ongoing execution risks highlighted on the earnings call (breakeven guidance, unit revenue pressure, and transitional cost headwinds).
