Wizz Air Holdings has launched its inaugural Airbus A321XLR route from Milan to Abu Dhabi, offering daily service starting June 2, 2025, with fares 70% lower than competitors. This marks the first use of the new, efficient long-range aircraft, as Wizz Air aims to enhance its Italian network and extend its reach. The company expects 8 of these aircraft in 2025, as part of a larger 47-aircraft order, promising more sustainable and affordable long-haul travel.
