Wisdom Education International Holdings Co. Ltd. has announced that its subsidiary, BEHK, has redeemed over 406,000 units of its Fund Investment Portfolio on June 6, 2024, for approximately HK$30 million. This transaction is classified as a discloseable transaction under the Hong Kong Listing Rules due to its size. The redemption resulted in a loss of around HK$3.2 million for BEHK, which the company plans to offset by using the proceeds to repay its borrowings.
