Winking Studios Seeks Shareholder Approval for New Share Buyback Mandate

Winking Studios Limited ( (SG:WKS) ) has issued an update.

Winking Studios Limited has scheduled its Annual General Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting for 30 April 2026 in Singapore, with an option for shareholders to join via webcast, and has published its 2025 annual report and AGM materials on its investor website and the SGX platform. The meetings will update investors on the company’s performance and provide a forum for key corporate decisions, reinforcing transparency for stakeholders across its dual listings.

At the EGM, the company will seek shareholder approval for a share buyback mandate allowing repurchases of up to 10% of its issued share capital, capped at US$3 million over any two-week period, through on-market or off-market transactions within prescribed price limits. The board argues that the mandate would give it flexibility to return surplus capital, support orderly trading in the shares, and potentially enhance earnings and net asset metrics, while committing not to compromise the firm’s financial position or its listings on AIM and SGX Catalist.
