The latest update is out from Widgie Nickel Limited ( (AU:WIN) ).
WIN Metals has reported a 46% increase in the Mineral Resource at its Radio Gold Project in Western Australia to 41,000 ounces of gold at 3.70 grams per tonne, with around half of the resource now classified as Indicated. This upgrade, underpinned by roughly 9,000 metres of drilling and new maiden resources at Repeater, Radio South and Green Harp, significantly improves geological confidence and supports detailed mine design and early-stage economic studies.
During the quarter, the company advanced key workstreams aimed at enabling a development decision in the June 2026 quarter, evaluating both open pit and underground mining options that can leverage existing underground infrastructure and near-surface mineralisation. WIN also expanded the emerging Radio production hub through the acquisition of the Princess Royal Gold Mine and an exclusive option over the Stumpy Doodle Gold Mine, adding high-grade satellite opportunities and an exploration target at Princess Royal that could further enhance project scale and future production potential.
