Wickes Group PLC has recently announced the purchase and upcoming cancellation of 41,675 of its ordinary shares, with a volume-weighted average price of 165.1713 pence per share. This latest transaction is part of a larger share buyback programme that has accumulated 17,352,274 shares to date. Following the cancellation, the company’s total issued share capital will be 242,285,724 shares, which will be the new denominator for shareholder notifications as per the Financial Conduct Authority’s rules.
