Wickes Group PLC has announced the buyback and subsequent cancellation of 45,976 of its ordinary shares at a price of 167.6 pence each, with the buyback part of an ongoing programme that has seen over 17 million shares purchased to date. After the cancellation, the company’s total issued share capital will be 242,383,163 shares. This action is part of the company’s strategy to manage its capital and provide shareholders with the denominator for their ownership calculations.
