Wickes Group PLC has announced the purchase and subsequent cancellation of 56,439 of its own ordinary shares, with a weighted average price of 169.5781 pence per share, as part of its ongoing buyback programme. This latest transaction brings the total number of shares acquired in the buyback to 16,978,890. Following the cancellation, Wickes’ total issued share capital will be 242,659,108 ordinary shares, excluding any shares held in treasury.
