Wheels Up Experience (UP) has shared an update.
Todd Smith, CFO of Wheels Up Partners LLC, announced his resignation effective September 6, 2024, to take on a new opportunity, with no disagreements cited. His unvested equity will be forfeited, and the company is seeking his replacement. Eric Cabezas will fill in as Interim CFO with a $450,000 base salary and bonus potential, while Alexander Chatkewitz is appointed principal accounting officer. In parallel, Laura Heltebran, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, also plans to resign, with a separation agreement in place. Matthew Knopf from Delta Air Lines is set to become the new Chief Legal Officer and Secretary. The company has issued a press release regarding these transitions.
