The latest announcement is out from Webus International Limited ( (WETO) ).

On April 29, 2026, Wetour Robotics unveiled four development milestone demonstrations for its Orchestra Physical AI platform, highlighting real-time, edge-processed multi-modal interaction via its VisionLink and Conductor modules. The demonstrations included camera-based gesture control, environmental haptic feedback, sEMG-based real-time hand tracking, and an in-development spatial localization layer, all designed to work without reliance on the cloud.

VisionLink enables bidirectional interaction by translating chest-mounted camera input into intent commands for exoskeletons or other connected devices and converting approaching-object detection into directional haptic cues for users. Conductor uses an sEMG wristband to mirror detailed hand movements in 3D space without camera dependence, while the forthcoming spatial localization capability is intended to fuse positional, visual, and gestural data into a unified control layer.

Collectively branded as “Spatial Intent Fusion,” these capabilities aim to solve fragmentation between wearables and physical machines by allowing cameras, wrist devices, and robots to act as one coordinated system on the Orchestra edge hub. By offering a device-agnostic, sensor-flexible platform rather than manufacturing hardware itself, Wetour is positioning Orchestra as core infrastructure for the emerging Physical AI category, potentially reshaping how developers integrate robotics and assistive mobility solutions around human intent.
