Westward Gold Inc ( (TSE:WG) ) has provided an announcement.

Westward Gold Inc. reported final 2025 reverse-circulation drilling results from its Phase I program at the Campfire Target Complex in Nevada, confirming a vertically and laterally extensive hydrothermal system within favourable lower-plate carbonate rocks. The campaign also yielded a new Carlin-type gold zone in hole CF25-04, demonstrating that deep RC drilling to more than 900 metres can be executed effectively and under budget at the Toiyabe Hills Property.

The company expanded the Toiyabe Hills land package by 110 claims to approximately 70 square kilometres, securing 13 kilometres of strike length along the Hilltop Corridor, a key district-scale mineralization control. With three target zones – Campfire, SSD, and El Segundo – now advanced to drill-ready status, Westward plans a significant 2026 program combining RC and core drilling, which could materially advance its resource potential and strengthen its strategic position in the Cortez District.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:WG) stock is a Hold with a C$0.09 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Westward Gold Inc stock, see the TSE:WG Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on WG Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, WG is a Neutral.

The score is mainly held back by weak financial performance (no revenue, ongoing losses and cash burn) and a technically weak trend (below key moving averages with negative MACD). The primary support comes from low balance-sheet risk due to zero debt, which partially offsets the funding/dilution risk typical of a pre-revenue explorer.
