An update from Westpac Banking ( (AU:WBC) ) is now available.
Westpac Banking Corporation has had its EUR1,000,000,000 0.766% notes, maturing on 13 May 2031 and traded under the ASX code WBCHDF, suspended from official quotation at the close of trading on 15 May 2026. These notes were redeemed on 13 May 2026, and the ASX will remove them from official quotation at the close of trading on 18 May 2026.
The suspension and removal apply solely to the WBCHDF notes and do not affect any of Westpac’s other quoted securities, meaning broader trading in the bank’s listed instruments continues uninterrupted. This action reflects the normal life cycle management of Westpac’s listed debt, with redemption and delisting of fully repaid instruments having limited direct impact on its other funding channels or existing shareholders.
