Westpac Banking Corporation announces the appointment of Anthony Miller as their new Group CEO and Managing Director, effective from December 16, 2024. Miller, who has been leading Westpac’s Business & Wealth division, will take over from retiring CEO Peter King, who served the company for 30 years. Acknowledged for his leadership qualities and extensive experience in financial services, Miller is set to focus on customer trust and technological advancements to position Westpac as a leader in the banking sector.
