Westpac Banking (AU:WBC) has released an update.
Westpac Banking Corporation is set to redeem its Series 2019-7 AUD1,000,000,000 Callable Floating Rate Subordinated Notes on 27 August 2024. The redemption will cover the total outstanding principal along with interest accrued during the period from 27 May 2024 to the redemption date. This move is in accordance with the terms outlined in the company’s 2018 Debt Issuance Programme, and while it applies to this series of notes, it does not necessarily indicate similar actions for other issued capital instruments.
