Westhaven Ventures ( (TSE:WHN) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Westhaven Gold and Dundee Corporation have closed a strategic earn-in agreement that gives Dundee the right to acquire up to a 60% interest in four Westhaven projects in British Columbia’s Spences Bridge Gold Belt, in exchange for up to C$85 million in funded project expenditures. The deal has received shareholder approval, and Dundee’s interest will be held through a new joint venture company that will manage the Shovelnose, Prospect Valley, Skoonka and Skoonka North projects.
Under the first phase now in effect, Dundee is committed to spend at least C$30 million by February 2029 to earn an initial 25% stake, including about C$20 million for 50,000 metres of drilling at Shovelnose in 2026. The staged earn-in structure, board representation shifts and Dundee’s sole funding of expenditures position Westhaven for accelerated exploration and development while aligning both firms to advance Shovelnose and unlock broader regional potential in the Spences Bridge Gold Belt.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:WHN) stock is a Hold with a C$0.24 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Westhaven Ventures stock, see the TSE:WHN Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on TSE:WHN Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSE:WHN is a Neutral.
The score is held back primarily by weak operating fundamentals (no revenue, ongoing losses, and negative free cash flow). Offsetting this are a strong low-debt balance sheet, improving near-term technical momentum, and constructive corporate events—most notably the Dundee earn-in and financing support that can fund project advancement.
