Western Uranium Expands Amid New U.S. Import Ban

Western Uranium (TSE:WUC) has released an update.

Western Uranium & Vanadium Corp. is capitalizing on new U.S. legislation to ban Russian uranium imports, with plans to support the domestic nuclear supply chain and ramp up their mining operations. The company is in talks with Energy Fuels for a possible uranium/vanadium ore buying program and has entered a joint venture to mine uranium in Colorado, aiming to increase production to meet annual targets. Western Uranium is expanding operations at the Sunday Mine Complex and progressing towards a significant production increase in uranium and vanadium.
