The Western Investment Company of Canada Ltd has successfully closed its over-subscribed private placement, raising a total of $30 million. The funds will be used for acquisitions in the insurance sector, administrative expenses, capital expenditures, and future growth opportunities. The private placement is still pending final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
