Western Copper Raises $46 Million from Public Offering

Western Copper (TSE:WRN) has released an update.

Western Copper and Gold Corporation successfully completed a significant public offering of 24.2 million common shares at $1.90 each, raising approximately $46 million in gross proceeds. This financial move, including a fully exercised over-allotment option, involved a syndicate of underwriters and is aimed at furthering development activities for the company’s Casino Project in Yukon, as well as supporting general corporate functions. Notably, the offering saw participation from company insiders, and the funds are expected to boost permitting and engineering work for the mining project.
