Western Bulk Chartering AS has announced the appointment of Amit Jakhmola as the new Head of the Indian Ocean desk, following the company’s successful expansion in the Panamax segment. Amit Jakhmola, who joined the firm in April 2019 and has a background as a Dry Cargo Ship Broker, assumes the role to further the company’s strategic growth. The Panamax division has shown promising results, surpassing initial projections in volume and profitability, with expectations to remain profitable in 2024.
