Western Alaska Minerals Corp successfully closed an upsized non-brokered private placement, raising C$2.48 million through the issue of over 3.8 million units at $0.65 each. The funds will fuel the company’s 2024 exploration program, targeting newly identified zones following their latest geophysical survey. The total raised, combining this with an earlier brokered offering, hit C$8.59 million, with the company allocating part of the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
