West African Resources Limited has announced promising results from its maiden grade control drilling program at Kiaka South, Burkina Faso, with significant high-grade gold intercepts such as 22m at 7.6 g/t. This discovery is expected to yield higher grade mill feed in the initial 18 months of production, contributing to the company’s goal of producing 4 million ounces of gold over the next decade. The Kiaka South pit will also assist in providing construction materials for essential infrastructure like the tailings storage facility.
