Wellfield Technologies Inc., a fintech firm leveraging blockchain, has secured a C$5 million equity financing deal with Alumina Partners to boost its working capital, support its tokenized gold ecosystem, and expand digital asset custodian Brane Trust. The agreement allows Wellfield to issue equity in tranches over two years, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. The funds are expected to enhance the company’s growth in the tokenization of precious metals and decentralized finance.
