Weir Group PLC has announced the appointment of Nick Anderson as an independent Non-Executive Director, effective from May 15, 2024. Anderson, who brings extensive experience from his tenure as Group Chief Executive at Spirax-Sarco Engineering, will also join the Audit, Nomination, and Remuneration Committees. Concurrently, the company disclosed that Stephen Young will retire from his position on July 31, 2024, with Andy Agg set to succeed him as Chair of the Audit Committee.
