Weebit Nano Ltd. ( (AU:WBT) ) has provided an update.
Weebit Nano, a developer and licensor of advanced ReRAM memory for the global semiconductor industry, says its technology is designed to deliver faster, more energy-efficient and more reliable embedded memory for applications spanning AI, automotive and industrial electronics. The company’s ReRAM can be integrated into existing chip manufacturing flows using standard materials, reducing the need for significant new capital investment.
The company announced that two product customers have now taped-out chip designs incorporating its ReRAM modules for eventual mass production, with one customer already receiving a functional prototype. Overlord Labs has used Weebit’s ReRAM in its next-generation smart battery management system, while a second unnamed customer has validated initial silicon, marking a key 2026 milestone for Weebit and underscoring progress toward commercial mass production and broader industry adoption.
Both customers will now undertake extended testing, characterisation and qualification over the next 12 to 18 months before moving to full-scale manufacturing. Weebit Nano said its ReRAM IP is being embedded in several next-generation products under existing agreements, and it expects additional customer tape-outs this year as demand grows for higher-performance embedded non-volatile memory solutions.
