Webuild SpA ( (IT:WBD) ) has issued an update.
Webuild, through its subsidiary Cossi Costruzioni, has secured a €117 million contract from ANAS to build the new Mondovì bypass on the SS28 in Piedmont, aimed at easing congestion and improving links between the A6 Torino–Savona motorway and the Cuneo valleys. The 3 km project includes the San Lorenzo tunnel, an artificial tunnel and the Ellero viaduct, which will feature continuous IoT-based structural monitoring to track bridge stability and hydrogeological conditions in real time.
The construction site will employ about 150 workers and adopt circular-economy practices such as full water recovery and reuse, dust-reduction barriers and wildlife protection measures including deterrents and mobile crossings. The contract underscores Webuild’s strategy of leveraging the specialist know-how of Cossi Costruzioni in complex tunnels and viaducts to boost industrial capacity, raise construction standards and reinforce its position in Italy’s strategic transport infrastructure market.
The most recent analyst rating on (IT:WBD) stock is a Buy with a EUR3.40 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Webuild SpA stock, see the IT:WBD Stock Forecast page.
