S&P Dow Jones Indices has announced that following Webjet Limited’s demerger, it will spin off Webjet Group Limited, which will temporarily join the S&P/ASX 200 Index before trading commences on September 23, 2024. Post-demerger, Webjet Limited will be renamed WEB Travel Group, and shareholders will receive one share of the new entity for each share held. Webjet Group Limited will then be removed from the index the following day.
