The latest update is out from WAM Strategic Value Ltd ( (AU:WAR) ).

WAM Strategic Value reported February 2026 pre-tax net tangible assets of 132 cents per share and after-tax NTA of 131.88 cents, with a look-through pre-tax NTA estimate of $1.48 per share and total assets of $243.2 million. The board declared a fully franked interim dividend of 3.25 cents per share, supporting an annualised fully franked interim dividend of 6.5 cents per share and an annualised yield of 5.5%, underscoring the company’s focus on income distribution alongside capital preservation.

The investment portfolio performance since inception stands at 8.4% per annum, with Carlton Investments contributing positively during February and Salter Brothers Emerging Companies detracting. WAM highlighted that Carlton’s narrowing discount to NTA still remains attractive, while SB2 continues to trade at a meaningful discount despite value uplift from exits of unlisted holdings, aligning with WAM’s strategy of targeting discounted assets and potentially supporting future portfolio performance and shareholder returns.
