WAM Research reported net tangible assets before tax of 90.01 cents per share in February 2026, down from 97.47 cents in January, with assets of $187.9 million and portfolio performance of 13.6% per annum since its 2010 strategy change versus 9.4% for the benchmark. The board declared an interim dividend of 5.0 cents per share, partially franked at 60% and equivalent to an annualised interim yield of 8.4%, supported by a profits reserve of 46.8 cents per share but dependent on continued portfolio gains and the generation of franking credits.
The company highlighted that dividends paid since inception total 164.0 cents per share, or 230.0 cents including franking credits, underpinning its income-focused appeal for shareholders. February performance was mixed at a stock level, with GemLife Communities Group contributing after strong results and capital management news, while Web Travel Group detracted following a Spanish tax audit announcement that weighed on its share price despite the company later reaffirming guidance.
