Walmart ( (WMT) ) has issued an update.
On March 10, 2026, Walmart disclosed that director and former CEO C. Douglas McMillon adopted a Rule 10b5-1 stock trading plan as part of his long-term diversification and financial strategy. The plan, which replaces an existing trading arrangement expiring after May 2026, schedules monthly sales of 19,416 shares of Walmart stock from June 2026 through January 2027, for a maximum of 155,328 shares, with transactions to be reported through required regulatory filings.
On March 12, 2026, the company was also informed that Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs Daniel J. Bartlett and Walmart U.S. CEO David Guggina each established individual Rule 10b5-1 plans aligned with Walmart’s insider trading policy. Bartlett’s plan provides for monthly sales of Walmart stock beginning July 2026 up to $15 million in total, while Guggina’s plan will liquidate net shares from a May 2026 restricted stock vesting, with both executives expected to maintain stock ownership levels equal to at least five times their base salaries.

Spark’s Take on WMT Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, WMT is a Outperform.
The score is driven primarily by strong, cash-generative financial performance and a constructive uptrend, reinforced by upbeat FY27 guidance centered on ecommerce, advertising, and productivity-led margin expansion. The main constraint is valuation: the high P/E and low yield reduce upside per unit of risk if growth or margins disappoint.
