Wallenstam completed and fully let 42 apartments in the Ädellövet project in Farsta, Stockholm, bringing the 172-unit development to completion and contributing to a current pipeline of 972 apartments under construction. This ongoing expansion of its residential portfolio in key growth areas strengthens the company’s position in Stockholm’s housing market and underscores its continued focus on new-build projects.
During the quarter, Wallenstam also sold the Nacka Älta 25:106 property to a tenant-formed housing cooperative for SEK 190 million, while executing a strategic land-rights swap with JM by acquiring a 50 percent stake in future building rights in Lövholmen for about SEK 140 million and divesting building rights in Älta valued at SEK 45 million. The establishment of a new Investments Business Area under newly appointed head Erik Klang is intended to centralize new construction, transactions and investments, aiming to sharpen customer focus and create stronger regional synergies in the company’s development activities.
